There were no measurements though. So I made it a few times to get the measurements for a sweet and chunky jam. This recipe is fun because you can make it as sweet or thick as you like it, you could even strain it and make jelly or leave out the gelatin and make syrup.
SCD Homemade Fruit Jam
12 oz or 2 cups of frozen fruit (strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, etc.)
1/4 c. honey
1 1/2 tsp. unflavored gelatin
Bring fruit to a boil over medium heat. Smash with potato masher until you get it the consistency you want. Add honey and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat, sprinkle gelatin over mixture and stir until the gelatin is distributed throughout with no lumps. Let cool and refrigerate.
