10 year old HEAVEN!

A few years ago I had heard that there was a pizza place in downtown Salt Lake City that served gluten free pizza. I shop Salt Lake frequently but stay away from the downtown if possible so I have never tried it out. Last week I had an errand in the downtown and my son was with me. We looked up the pizza restaurant and gave it a try. I didn't have any, but my 10 year old son said he was in Heaven! Pier 49 San Francisco Sourdough, 238 S. Main Street, they not only serve pizza but some yummy looking salads too.

  1. I heard it's delicious, so we went to the one in Provo. They brought ours first so we were happy and pleased, until they bought the other non-gf and ours was small and thin and theirs was thick and massive. So, next time I'll go alone.

  3. Hey Terina, I didn't know that other stores made them too, I thought it was just the Salt Lake one. Good to know as I am in Provo from time to time. My son mentioned how thick the crust was compared to what he is used to. I wonder if the different stores have different suppliers?

  4. Just an FYI. Last week I was buying some movie tickets at the theatre next to the Sandy Spagehtti Mama's resteraunt and saw a banner that would be now serving Gluten free pizza's there. I am on a more restrictive diet than gluten free or I would I broken down the door!

  5. Great to know Stephanie, I too can't enjoy it because of the other ingredients but for my son who so often goes without it is good to have some special places we can take him. Thanks for the comment!
