Rachelle's Marinara
This recipe came from my good friend and neighbor, Rachelle. It has become our favorite pizza sauce. I like to make a double batch then ladle it into canning jars and freeze it for later use. My son Alex likes to have it as a dip with gluten free bread sticks.

Rachelle's Marinara
Ingredients:
28 oz canned tomatoes
16 oz tomato paste
4 T. fresh parsley, or 1 T. dried
2 cloves garlic
1 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. salt
6 T. olive oil
1/3 c. diced onion
1/2 c. chicken broth
Method:
1. Place tomatoes, paste, parsley, garlic, oregano, salt and pepper in a food processor and process until smooth.
2. Heat oil in a large stock pot and saute onion till translucent. Add the tomato mixture and chicken broth. Simmer for 30 minutes.
