Quick SCD Low Carb Spaghetti

This is one of those recipes that sounds really weird, but I challenge you to give it a try before you decide it is too weird for you. Spaghetti squash really is a lot like spaghetti, it even twists around your fork like spaghetti, it has a mild flavor and absorbs the sauce just like spaghetti too.

1 lb. hamburger
1 small (8 oz) can tomato sauce (check ingredients for no added sugar)
1 can (15 oz) crushed tomatoes (check ingredients for no added sugar)
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
1 tsp. honey
1/2 tsp. minced dried onion
1/2 tsp. dried parsley
salt and pepper to taste

Brown the hamburger, seasoned with salt and pepper. Drain well. Add the rest of the ingredient and simmer 10 minutes. Add more salt and pepper to taste. Serve over baked spaghetti squash, garnish with Parmesan cheese.
