This is a great recipe for a hearty breakfast, shown here topped with a fried egg and bacon bits. Or try the latkes plain as a side dish with roasted chicken. I almost left out the cinnamon because I thought it would taste weird with the egg and bacon. I am glad I didn't because it gave a nice background flavor. These latkes are quick and satisfying.

I think these would make an excellent dessert served with scd whipping cream yogurt whipped with a little honey (my favourite dessert sauce now that I can't eat straight whipped cream)
